This blog is currently inactive. I used it from March 2014 to April 2015 to document a 2-week excursion to Africa that included an eight-day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro and a five-day wildlife safari. The trip ran from June 26 to July 12, 2014.
If you stumbled onto this page by accident, now you know what you’re looking at.
If you arrived here while searching for information on Kilimanjaro treks or African safaris, then by all means, stay awhile. You’ll find plenty of material on both.
Much like Kibo (Kilimanjaro’s main volcanic cone), this blog is dormant but not extinct. Although I’m no longer adding new entries, I still receive email notices from the Web host whenever someone comments on a post or sends a message through the Contact page. If you have any questions, then, please don’t hesitate to ask, and if you find factual errors, please don’t hesitate to inform me.
Happy trails,
Brian Whitmer
